2. Legal Framework and Compliance
VIP Chauffeurs operates in full compliance with applicable UK laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
2.1 Security and Close Protection Laws
- Private Security Industry Act 2001: Governs the licensing and conduct of security personnel, close protection officers, and private investigators. All operatives hold valid Security Industry Authority (SIA) licenses.
- Security Industry Authority (SIA) Regulations: Ensures standards for training, background checks, and operational conduct.
2.2 Data Protection and Privacy Laws
- The Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Ensure personal data is handled securely and responsibly.
- Investigatory Powers Act 2016: Outlines lawful procedures for conducting surveillance and investigation.
2.3 Health and Safety Laws
- Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974: Protects the safety of personnel, clients, and third parties during service delivery.
- Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999: Ensures risk assessments are conducted before providing services.
2.4 Employment and Discrimination Laws
- Employment Rights Act 1996: Protects the rights of employees and contractors engaged in service delivery.
- Equality Act 2010: Ensures non-discrimination and equal treatment of all clients and staff.

4. Licensing and Personnel Standards
4.1 Licensing
All operatives are fully licensed under the Private Security Industry Act 2001, verified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
4.2 Training and Expertise
Our personnel are trained to the highest industry standards, including conflict management, surveillance techniques, and risk assessment, in compliance with SIA-approved programs.
5. Client Obligations
The Client agrees to:
- Provide accurate and complete information to facilitate effective service delivery.
- Ensure cooperation during risk assessments and service planning.
- Respect the professional advice and decisions of our operatives during service execution.
6. Booking and Payment
6.1 Booking Process
- Services can be booked via our website, email, or phone.
- A service agreement will be issued upon booking confirmation, outlining the scope of services and fees.
6.2 Payment Terms
- A non-refundable deposit may be required at the time of booking.
- Full payment is due before service commencement unless otherwise agreed.
- Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved methods.
6.3 Late Payments
Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 8% per annum, as permitted by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. Service Execution
7.1 Risk Assessments

- The Client must not request illegal actions, including unauthorized surveillance, access to private property, or physical confrontation.
7.3 Limitations of Service
- VIP Chauffeurs cannot guarantee the prevention of all risks but will take all reasonable steps to mitigate them.
- Certain actions may require police cooperation or court orders.
8. Cancellations and Amendments
8.1 Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of service commencement may incur a fee of up to 50% of the agreed fee.
8.2 Amendments
- Requests for service amendments must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
- Amendments are subject to feasibility and may involve additional costs.
9. Confidentiality and Data Protection
9.1 Confidentiality
- VIP Chauffeurs will treat all client information as confidential.
- Disclosure will only occur with the Client’s consent or if required by law (e.g., under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002).
9.2 Data Protection
- Personal data will be processed in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.
- Clients have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of their data.
10. Liability and Insurance
10.1 Company Liability
- VIP Chauffeurs is insured for public liability, employer liability, and professional indemnity, as required by the Employers' Liability (Compulsory Insurance) Act 1969.
- Liability is limited to direct losses up to the total amount paid for the specific service.
10.2 Exclusions
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as business interruption or reputational damage.
10.3 Client Liability
- The Client is responsible for any damage caused by their actions or instructions contrary to advice.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Complaints
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the incident.
- We aim to resolve disputes amicably within 14 working days.
11.2 Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Force Majeure
VIP Chauffeurs is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, terrorism, or government restrictions, as per the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.
13. Prohibited Activities
Clients and personnel must not engage in activities prohibited under:
- The Protection from Harassment Act 1997: Prevents stalking or harassment.
- The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA): Governs lawful surveillance and prohibits unauthorised spying.
- The Misuse of Private Information Laws: Ensures respect for personal data and privacy.
14. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
VIP Chauffeurs reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be communicated to clients and will take effect immediately for new contracts and upon renewal of existing contracts.
